When I customize my List, Thumbnail and Media view options (CMD + J), it does not retain the settings. I can save them and use the drop down to re-select. I pressed the "use as Default" button. But it won't automatically switch to my setting for that particular view.
I noticed in EM2 beta it does retain this info. What am I doing wrong in iView?

Andy,
Save the view with a name that makes sense to you (LikeName and Ratings, or Name and Size) - it will be available in Option sets - very powerful feature.

Each saved View Option has a List, Thumb, and Media view component.

So I have one for Name and Size that shows:
Media: Filename,  FIle Size, Dimensions
Thumbnail: Filename,  FIle Size, Dimensions
List: Filename, File Size, Dimensions, Width, Height, File Type, Path Name

Yes, the View Option custom sets are great. But I was wondering if there was a way to have it have remember the last chosen view set for Thumbnails when I switch to Thumbnails, rather than staying with the last setting that had been applied to the List view for example. It seems like EM2b is able to do that.
Hope I'm making sense here.

Andy,
Changing the View option changes it for all three - I see your point.
