I have come across some photos where not only the original camera file names are missing, but the date & time of them are screwed up; the persons using the camera did not set the cameras clock & date. for example; a photo with a missing file name & date, I renamed; 040000; I knew the year, but not the month or date. For this same photo the date showing up in windows where the camera clock was amiss; 1/1/2003 1:30 AM, I may not have known the date but it is obvious in the photo the picture was taken at 1:30 PM not AM. should I try to set the capture date in expression media for photos like this? or just leave this part alone & just rename the photo?

Sossity,
Unless there's a real compelling reason to do otherwise, I'd probably rename as close as I could to the correct date and move on.
