Camera Raw - Originals or Derviations?

Sorry to bother you again but I have another question. I am following a workflow through with Bridge with the tick-sheet downloaded from this site. However, once the images are finished being processed by Camera Raw, do they become the 'Originals' (and the derviations the ones which are Photoshopped) or are the derviations the processed images and the originals the files from the camera.

Where would I be without this forum! Thanks Again Everyone

camera raw and DNG files are considered to be originals, even though they are often manuipulated (saved in metadata) after downloading to the computer. When these files are converted to TIFFs or JPEGs to be used a masters, proofs, web galleries, and other output files, then they become derivatives.

Note that JPEGs and TIFFs that come straight from the camera are also considered to be originals. When those get modified in any way they are considered to be derivatives.

Thanks Alan. I gussed as much! When I saw that Peter had more original images than dervivates, I was confused. This makes sense now!
