I'm new to this Forum and format.  I haven't found a schedule for Peter's workshops for 2008, just a few references.  I'm in SF and in desperate need of a hands-on (PC) DAM tutor, mentor or tutorial.  Anyone help?

Hi Kevin,

I'm a bay area photographer, and I work as a digital asset manager for an advertising photographer.  I've been doing the DAM thing for quite a while now, and I have a solid handle on it.  I'm a good communicator, and I've been thinking about getting involved in the DAM consulting business.  I may be able to help.  Drop me an email at andris (at) andrisbjornson.com and we can discuss?

Thanks,

Andris

Kevin,
I'm concentrating on video at the moment - I'll have some XTrain classes up in less than 2 months.

In the meantime, since you're in the bay area, I'd suggest dropping Andris a line.  He definitely knows his stuff.

Craig,
We did not get them finished before a whirlwind of activity came my way.  Unfortunately, it looks like I'm totally booked up until sometime maybe in late september.

Apologies for that.

On the plus side, if you want a workshop, you can join me in south Africa in August...

OK.  Just curious.  Wow.  That would be a trip.  What exactly are you doing?   Hope they are not still killing each other when you get there.   BTW.  SB2 in Philly was pretty good.  Attended the evening seminar you did with that one other photographer.  Can't remember his name.  Take care.

You mean the famous Richard Anderson, founder of UPDIG?  We all owe a debt to him...

Keven,
Thought you may be interested in this newly announced DAM Conference in L.A. in February: http://www.createasphere.com/damem_february/index.html
Let me know if I can help out!
Best,
Kelly
