How do I get iview xmp info panel to show up in CS3 & bridge 2.1.1.9.?---it worked in CS2/bridge 1.0.4.6
The plug-in "iViewPanel V3.txt" was in correct location (at least according to year old seminar notes.) "{root volume}/library/application support/adobe/xmp/custom file info panels/iViewPanel V3.txt Tried to also put it in 1 level deeper 1.0 custom & photoshop as well as the user level library. Additionally I tried to point CS3 to additional plug-in folder to no avail. via CS3 prefs.
Thank You
Mary

Hi Mary,

The old panel for CS2 doesn't work in CS3. John Beardsworth has a modified version on his web site that works with CS3.

http://www.beardsworth.co.uk/iview_scripts.php?group=bridge

Click on the "iViewPanel_for_CS3_by_John" and save the resulting displayed page. And then put that in the properplace.

Mary

Did you try this? Any luck?

I downloaded the page that Louie pointed you to and installed it here: {root volume}/library/application support/adobe/xmp/custom file info panels/

The panel appears in PS CS3 File Info, but doesn't have any metadata in it.

Hi Peter,

Did you sync your iView meta data back into the images before re-opening and reviewing the file info again in Bridge?

Richard

Thanks for that. I think I just needed to quit and restart Bridge/Photoshop because it's working now.
