Hello

I recently purchased your book Peter and like many others found it a great source of valuable information. I thought my digital archiving was quite good but you have pointed out a much better, steam-lined way of doing things and the shortcomings in some of my own ways . This had led me to revamp my entire library - not really looking forward to it but will be happy when it is finished.

Anyway, I am having a real irritating time bringing files into Bridge that originally were edited in iView. In the past I have always done my metadata entries in iView. It seems the problem is the "Rights Terms Usage" field. If I have entered data in that field (I always do) in iView and exported to the files, Bridge would not be able to read the metadata - I just get the spinning wheel forever. If, on the other hand, I enter data in Bridge and look at the file through iView, after importing the data, I can see the data in the "Rights Terms Usage" field. But, if I make any changes to this field in iView, export the data, Bridge again can't see any metadata. I believe at least a couple of other people are having this same problem, and my feeling is it's probably an iView conflict and not something on my part but don't see lots of other people complaining. For me this is a real nuisance. Are other people in this forum having a similar Bridge/iView behaviour with this field?

Thanks.

Clive,
there seems to be an issue with the Urgency field, and looks like this as well. I have sent this on to iView, hopefully we will hear something soon.
