Congratulations, Hert!

I am looking forward to tryinig out the release version after having a taste of the betas.  Unfortunatley, I should have purchased a copy before this release as I see there was an adjustment in the pricing.  Still, the price seems quite reasonable for what is being offered.  Now, if I can just get LR under control so I can devote some time to your program.  Then, I just might have the tools for a complete DAM system, soup to nuts!  All the best.

Thank you for the congrats Ken!

Just let me know when you have the time to spend on IDimager and Id be happy to help you further. Btw; the free viewer tool you were asking for is far into development and I'll release a beta soon so people can start providing more input on what features are required in addition to what I already added.

Any (short or long range) plans to have this work on Mac OS also?

Hi Frank,

Yes, there are long term plans to get IDimager to other platforms as well. MacOS will be the first targetted platform, but development still has to start and it may still take a couple years before it is released.

Sorry for that.

Thank you for your offer, Hert.  Its great to hear that the viewer is in development, as it is still needed (at least in my work).  I'm sorry that I was not able to participate more during the beta phase, but I ended up spending more time over here learning about how to set up my DAM system, and it has been time well spent.  I am hoping that LR and IDImager will play well together, for at a minimum, LR can be used as a RAW converter in addition to its many other touted features.

IDimager 4.0.0.4 is available and, apart from other improvements, this update now also supports Lightroom's hierarchical keywords (lr:hierarchicalSubject). This allows for an improved integration between IDI and Lightroom.

Hert

PS. Using LR-keywords in IDI requires that IDI is configured to use dilimited keywords reading/writing in Tools -> Options -> XMP Sync Settings.
