We're just about to rebuild our library, and were intending to use Bridge as both a browser and cataloguer.

After reading the DAM book it seems it's better to search the finished library in an application such as iView. What we liked about the idea of using Bridge for searching was that you could drag and drop your search results straight into the inDesign document - making the process really streamlined.

Does anyone know if this drag and drop facility is available with any other software?

Many thanks

Pat,
I thought all those consonants looked Welsh...
I visited your beautiful country last summer and met many of my wife's relatives in and around Cardiff.

You can drag from iView to an inDesign document.
Bridge is not an asset manager.

Peter
