Recycler Folder on external drives
«
on:

I have been shuffling folders and archiving to external hard drives. on all my drives i notice a recycler folder, in some cases this folder is up to 4Gb in size. How can i delete the contents of these folders and free up space?
I am PC, XP and my drives are a collection of mainly maxtors.

With the USB drive plugged in, right click on the the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop and select properties. Click on the Global tab and select Configure Drives Independently. Select the tab with your USB drive on it, and make the recycle area as small as you would like, or check the Do not move files to the Recycle Bin to delete it from that drive.
