Bridge previews with rapid fixer cs3
«

I have just downloaded and launched RapdFixerCS3 on an intel Mac and have the following beharior.
I am finding that the color buttons do not update the thumbnails unless I exit the rapid fixer altogether. So if I try to change the color temp, there is a flash of the modified thumbnail but it returns to the neutral value, and only shows the modified version if I turn off the rapid fixer display in the edit menu.
I admit I have not researched this to see if it is already described. The same behavior is noted for the Exposure buttons so the problem is broader than just the color setting.
Any thoughts?

Later, with a little more experimentation:
When switching the temperature setting up or down, there are times when the buttons work as described above. Other times, they work fine, and sometimes they return me to what is apparently an unmodified preview. Also, some of the time when it won't update, the preview is surrounded by a black border, which at times disappears when the fully down setting is selected.

Chuck,
As the tooltip indicates, you first need to apply one of my preset color balances before the Temp and Tint buttons work (this is just like the CS2 version). Unfortunately, there is no way to get Bridge to hand off the current setting to RapidFixer if you are set to Auto or As Shot.
The Thumbnails sometimes reverting to the built-in thumb is a known bug in Bridge, that I hope Adobe will fix before to long (no priomises though.) The way that shows up is that after making a change, sometimes Bridge will revert to the embedded thumbnail in the Raw (or DNG file) instead of showing the updated one. The workaround seems to be to increase the size of the Bridge Thumbs, which forces Bridge to rebuild the image.
Also, you should have your preferences set to Build High Quality Thumbs.
Does that take care of it?

Thanks and I will give it all a try when we get home again. The file I was working on had already been adjusted in ACR so I thought that would do, and the work arounds will help. This plugin is a great help to have. Haven't tried all its features yet.
