This is a new one, and quite aggravating.  I'm not sure where the appropriate subgroup for this, so I may post it twice.
I bought two new Sandisk Extreme III cards, 4 gigs each.  I tested them, and they seemed to work fine.  After shooting a wedding,
I doubled clicked on one of the cards to open it, and the folder immediately closes.  I also loaded the files via Image Ingester,
and whenever I click on those files, the folder closes immediately.  7 out of 10 times when I try and access the files (somehow they
made it to the computer), Bridge will close.  I have repaired permissions, re-started, everything except Disk Warrior.  At some point
some of the file names became garbled when Bridge tried to open the folder, so I used Photo Rescue.  Even those files saved from
Photo Rescue will close the folder immediately when clicked on.  Any ideas with this?  (Using a Canon 5D, 20D, Mac Pro - 7 gigs RAM, CS3, Image Ingester).
Will also post to Bridge topic as well.  Brian

Brian,
I assume you are talking about within Bridge. Have you tried to purge the cache?  Do the files/folders behave fine in the finder?

Peter,
Yep, this is both in Bridge, and in the finder.  Either way, the folder would close if clicked on, as well as individual files when I did manage
to open the folder after 10 tries.  I will try purging the cache.

Brian,
Have you repaired permissions?

I managed to finally get the files in the right folders, after about 1 hour or more of trying various ways.
I had repaired permissions, but that didn't seem to help.  I've re-used the cards again, and after this
glitch, things have worked fine.  I suspect that is was the card, as it was a new card, and was the the 2nd time
I had used (Sandisk Extreme III).  All seems ok now, not sure what happened.
