DAMuseful Video vs The DAM Book
«

I just received the video training videos as a gift - after hinting that I really needed to get my DAM sorted out.
Very nice gift, although I haven't gone through the 4+ hours yet.
I haven't got the book yet.
How different is the content between the two.
1) Is the book a 'must' before the videos?
2) Do they replicate content?
- basically, I know the book's good. But can I can the same info from the videos?
Thanks in advance, Paul

Paul - for me both are really good and they do overlap, and the video is not a subset of the book. The book was critical in my DAM practices and the video helped my understand some of the practical concepts better. Having been involved in adult education, it makes a lot of sense to see and hear the processes as well as read about them in detail. I would suggest buying the book.

Both are great. I read the book when it first came out and sorta got halfways pregnant, implementing some things and not some others. After a year, I realized that my stubbornness was wrong, and after watching the video, reread the book whil on a shoot in Africa. As soon as I finished, I re-read it again and feel like I have the thing down now. Krogh knows what he is doing.

I've bought the book and I agree - both are very useful, for different purposes.
The video
shows
you how DAM works, but the book explains the
why and how
.
Both are easy to follow - 1/2 way through the book and following the same steps on the video - determined to get through it all so I can get my workflow as good as possible first time around.
