I still prefer Capture One for my raw conversions, and I'm wondering how useful these videos would be to me. I've read that they are mostly about iView, which I'm not really using yet, but I really want to start soon. I also use Downloader Pro to import, rename, and add metadata to my raw files, so that might also throw a wrench in the workflow described in the videos. I have to pay international shipping if I order these, so they are quite expensive and I just want to be sure I can still get something out of them. I've read the book, but I still have trouble visualizing the whole thing, especially when I'm using some different tools. So I was hoping the videos would help me get a better grasp on things.

Thanks,

Andrew

Andrew,
There is some Bridge Camera Raw stuff that would be of less use to a C1Pro user, but there is lots of information about iView that wold probably be useful.

I find that most people have no idea how powerful iView is until they see a demonstration like this.  There's lots of meat there as far as iView instruction.

Hi Andrew,

Peter's book and videos give a good hands-on approach to Bridge and iView. They also give a highly valuable overview of a DAM system. Look at the big picture and the products become irrelevant. This is true for both newbies and seasoned pros stuck in their ways Smiley.

Capture One and iView work very well together. When Capture One 4 is released soon with full DNG support it will work even better.

Thanks for the replies. I just placed my order, and I'm looking forward to seeing the disks. I hope they don't take too long to get to Toronto Wink

Cheers,

Andrew
