I thought some may be interested in this.  Quite a few DAM useful features.

Thanks for the link.  I think a lot of us have been wondering if an update was really on its way.  From the detailed notes, it sounds like it is.  I am still debating whether to get IMatch, iView Media Pro, or IDimager.  I was about to write off IMatch, thinking it was all but abandoned, but it looks like I have to put it back on my list.

Great! I just purchased iView yesterday after deciding that iMatch was missing too many things I wanted. (Story of my life  Cheesy )

I guess I'll keep working through the DAM book with iView, but play with iMatch too. Nothing but time...

Mario's been promising this major update since early last year so it is encouraging for IMatch users to see there is some progress.  However, I just couldn't see putting my faith in a product where there are only two developers and the main one admits that this is a part-time endeavour for him.

I just wanted to post here that the new release of IMatch is out.  Version 3.5.  I just paid my $29 upgrade and I think it will work very well for implementing Peter's methods.  It does have a bit of a learning curve but they have an active user forum.  Here is the link for those who are interested...

I've been using iMatch for several months now (and have actually started to understand most of the features). I tested iView, but for reasons now unclear, I decided to go with iMatch. I'd be curious to know what features you felt iMatch was missing, i.e., one I probably haven't realized yet that I need.

Thanks, dds

I haven't looked at IMatch since I purchased iView last year but, when I was evaluating it, the product did not fully support the DNG format.  Other than that, I thought it was pretty good.  Support for the product was a big concern though.
