For those of you poking around here for the first time, here's a bit of advice.  I suggest that rather than using the Import From Camera script, you give ImageIngester Pro a try.  It has considerably more functionality, is faster and more stable, and a better interface.

Marc Rochkind wrote ImageIngester Pro based on the steps recommended in my book, so if you are using that as a workflow guide, you'll be up to speed very quickly, and you'll be able to grasp the intended use easily.

If you back out to the main page on this forum, you'll see an entire forum category for ImageIngester.

You can find the script at:
http://www.basepath.com/ImageIngester/pro-preview.php

Thanks, Peter! A couple of very little corrections:

1. It's not a "script!" It's a full-blown Cocoa (Mac) or MFC (Windows) native app.
2. A URL that takes one straight to the main page is http://ImageIngester.com. (That pro-preview.php page was only for the beta period.)
