In the use of the colored labels in Bridge, I think I can understand 'Unrated', 'TrashMe' and 'altPick', but please explain 'OutTakes' and 'Temp'. And while you are about it, how do you place the 'Temp' label? The only way I see is do it through a menu choice since there does not seem to be a keyboard shortcut.

Outtakes, as described in the book, is primarily for commercial images that can be discarded once the Client has said the job is properly finished.  For instance, ina controlled light shoot, where there are may similar images, it may not be necessary to keep all images once the jb is delivered and paid for.

Temp is just that, temporary.  If I have some sorting task that is out of the ordinary, I can use the temp label for sorting (or rename the label for the task at hand.)
