Welcome to DAMuseful CS3 Beta Discussions

We will be porting the DAMuseful Bridge Scripts to CS3 over the next several months, as the software gets developed. Right now, Rank and File (and Rank and File Lite) seems to be working fine on CS3.
Principally, I expect this to be divided into two areas.
1. Bug Fixes. If anything in CS3 breaks existing scripts, we'll need to get that taken care of before CS3 ships. This may include issues with our scripts, or it may include issues with Bridge's scriptability. In any case, we'll want to get any problems in front of the Bridge team ASAP (as indeed, we have already been doing).
2. More exciting, are the new capabilities of Camera Raw 4, and our ability to access those controls with RapidFixer. We will bring the existing version into compliance with ACR 4, and then start working on an entirely new version. This new version will offer a much more sophisticated user interface than the buttons we have in CS2. If it works out as we plan, there will likely be an additional charge to upgrade to RapidFixer DeLuxe (or whatever we call it), but the current version - ported to CS3 - will be a free upgrade for all current customers.

How is the work on the scripts coming along? Rapid Fixer Deluxe?

Chris,
We are getting very close. There were some unexpected glitches to iron out, but it looks like they are all taken care of, and we should be able to send something out within a week, I think.
Work on the Deluxe version has not started, due to the other unexpected issues.

For those interested, we're getting even closer to release of a CS3 version. We want to add a little more functionality, which is nearly done. A few teasers:
RapidFixer is really rapid now. It does not depend on Bridge finding the changes and updating.
RapidFixer now works on DNG files.
RapidFixer now works on JPEG files
We have built the Negative array, so it works quite well for B&W Camera Scans
We have a new interface which allows us to pack more buttons in to a smaller space, and to give them a much more intuitive design.
The price will likely go up for new customers (probably to $49.95) once we get the first real CS3 version out. Existing CS2 customers (including those who purchase at the current price in the next few days) will get the upgrade for free.
We'll put out a movie once we get the next few changes built.

Is this ready yet? It's June 10.
Also "additional options" does not offer image uploads in my window.

Seve,
Just back from three weeks around the world - trying to dig out right now, and prioritize what needs to be done.
Image uploads were disabled due to some unfortunate pornography uploaded a while ago.
