Multi-User setup with Xserve/Xraid storage for museum's photo studio.

I have been tasked with creating a new digital workflow/DAM system for a major New York museum's photo studio. I will have 4 users editing in photoshop and saving finished files to an xserve/xraid array through a DAM software. I am considering iView, Cumulus and Portfolio. I'm not sure iView is appropriate for multi users and Cumulus seems to have a steep learning curve. I don't know much about Portfolio. Any and all advice is appreciated.

What sort of shooting volume? With Portfolio you can have significantly larger catalogues than with iView, even with SQLServer and Oracle back ends, and you can also have multiuser access.

John,
Based on my research, it looks like Portfolio is the best solution for us. It seems to be more intuitive than Cumulus and has the multi-user support that iView lacks.
