Peter -
Success! Thanks for pursuing this. Very smooth process and predictable color. Man, I love it when a plan works!
is it safe to use the beta as the main foundation? Or should we wait for a dot version?
BTW - I got the DAM book in the mail yesterday. Beautifully produced, full of great information. Again, thanks for all the time you have devoted to this stuff. It will help us all sleep better at night knowing that our files are tucked safely into bed.

You think you love it... I've been working on making all this come together for nearly a year. As of this last iView build, what I saw one year ago finally works as designed. Pretty amazing. There were more than a few sleepless nights last spring when there were real problems cropping up: ones that almost went unaddressed in CS2.

I'd go ahead with the new beta as the real deal. If you have older catalogs with lots of important work inside them, make sure to back those up in present form before you convert them

Thanks for the commments. Other than the cover, they printed it very nicely. It was a little scary to send off all that final artwork and never see a proof. I guess color management really does work. ;-)

Amen.
And thank you for catching the color mismatch.

Rick,
I'd have to amend my previous statement about full switching to iView 3.0. I think there are still a few bugs in there. I will post again once I find out that these issues are resolved.
