Which version of DNG Converter should we be using as of today? There is a version 3.6 available now along with the ACR 3.6b. Is it wise to be using the latest 3.6 Converter if, say, one were not using ACR 3.6b? Does anyone have a recommendation for the safest version of DNG Converter (and ACR) to be using at this time? I use a Nikon D200, in case the answer is camera specific.

Thank you, cg

Chris,
I've been using ACR and DNG 3.5 without problems. The D200 was supported from version 3.3 so any version up from here should be fine for your camera. It's recommended to keep parity on versions of ACR and the DNG converter. ACR and DNG 3.6 is in beta but some compatiblity bugs with older versions of Photoshop Elements for Windows were fixed. As with any beta proceed with caution.

Regards Dexter...

Wait until it's out of beta unless your camera is not otherwise supported.
In other words, 3.5
