IPTC to filename to title not working after hard drive replacment

The laptop HD failed, and I re-installed everything, and then tried to replace the IPTC to Filename title. 
I found a folder in the library that had startup scripts for adobe, but the folder did not say Bridege.
I see the option for Filename to Title in Bridge, but when I click on it, nothing happens at all.
I suspect that ther should be some other type of folder in the startups.   I use that script as part of
the workflow, so not sure what happened.

Try trashing preferences in Bridge.

Wow, I sure had some typo's in that posting.
Things are a bit chaotic with re-installing all this software.
Too ask an ignorant question, where can I get hold of the Bridge Prefs in order to trash them?
I don't see them in the Library, and I'm still no Mac expert after less than a year
of switching from PC.
