I'm looking forward to the book (from a slightly different point of view - I'm a designer, but the principles are similar).

Anyway, I was wondering if you knew of the book would be available on the Safari bookshelf - I find it very handy as I read at home but always forget to take the books to the office and being able to search it online is great.

Also does version cue have a place in your vision? I find the premise of it useful but worry about adding another environment and how that breaks the chain.

Burni,
I don't know about the schedule of Safari.  O'Reilly was very loose about those details.

As to Version Cue, I don't recommend it, so I don't cover it.  It is not well-suited to the digital photographer, primarily because it creates additional files every time you make any change.  Not a big deal when designing a web project or even a large print project, but a huge problem when dealing with a large photographic archive, which is the subject of my book.
