FileBack PC? Not something I've ever used but this chap clearly liked it before going over to the Mac and using Chronosync.

I tried fileback pc after reading this post. It worked fine till I had it automatically add some backups. Then when I started it the program window would not show and it kept running all the time. Thought it may be searching my hd so left it on all night. When still running in the morning I re booted, and used remove programs to get rid of it. Then went back and deleted its folder. Not sure what happened but seemed to have some kind of problem with my setup.

I haven't bought anything yet, so thanks for the feedback on Fileback PC. I may steer away from it.

I use syncback.. they do a free and a paid version. its a nice little bit of kit and can do backups to/from servers/ftp and just bog standard hds.

Everything can be scheduled and you can set all kinds of rules as to what it does with files in different situations.
