I'm having problems rebuilding some items.  I converted to DNG, and imported into IVIEW.  After that, I went back into BRIDGE and did some CROPPING on some of the files.  When I rebuild the item, the crop doesn't show on the thumbnail, and when I convert the file to a JPEG, IVIEW ignores the new crops on the DNG.

I removed the images from the calalog and reimported them.  However, the full frame still shows up, both in the preview and the conversion.

Thank you for any help you might be able to provide.

In Camera Raw preferences, have you checked Update embedded JPEG previews? Sounds like you haven't.

Check this with one item. If I'm right, fix the rest by selecting in iView all the DNGs that aren't showing OK, and choose Open in Photoshop. That will launch the ACR dialog. From the menu, select Export Settings which will rebuild all the embedded previews. After that's done, click Done - not Open - and return to rebuild the items in iView.

I'm away from my computer for a week (yikes!)  But this sounds like it will be the solution to all my problems.  Can't wait to get home to check my settings!

Thanx for taking the time to respond.
