The problem is doing it that way you have to click on every "pen" icon to copy them over. If you wish to copy all metadata from one image to another then first select the image you want to copy from then select any you want to copy to and select the first script in the list.

Hi Neil, in your case I would suggest Zenfolio at only £25 for the basic it will enable you to password protect a gallery just for family and also enables you to allow print ordering by viewers using MPix at lab prices on just the galleries you select. For what you want this word mean only allowing print orders on the password protected family to which you could e-mail the password to family members.
If you decide to go with Zenfolio use this code to get a £5 rebate of the first years membership. PTU-TCC-KRP

Well as a long standing user of ME2 and Iveiw before I'm having a lot of problems with it on Windows 7 64 bit as are many others.
1- File sort does not work.
2- Selecting more than one folder results in a blank thumbnail view, so I only have the choice of viewing all thumbnails or just one folder.
3--No matter what you set in the syncronise dialogue it generates XMP side car files for all images including Jpegs.
4- Setting the rendering engine to Phase One and trying to view images full size just causes a freeze up .
Speed is not to much of a issue with me but just the above make it virtually unusable and I have had to go back to using EM2.

Hi,
Only from the last back up of your catalog. PITA and I've been there too. FWIW all databases can will eventually corrupt whether the app is Lightroom, Portfolio, whatever.
-- Robert.
+1 My catalogue databases are kept in the My documents folder which is backed at 5.00 pm every day by free backup software and therefore I never lose more than one days work, you mean to say you have not taken this simple precaution?

If you import your images from your Card using EM2 then a seperate capture set will be made for each download and/or you can custom make Catalog Sets.
What this means is if you now send a image to CO5 from one of those sets it will add it to a CO5 Album with the same name in the library, this means you can just open the image you want in CO5 without having to import a complete folder of images into CO5's library.

Let's not be too hard, John, a sentence before that unfortunate phrase Mr Weisberg writes 'we are actively working on the future of the product' Dierk I would have been happier to hear we are working on the next phase/ edition of EM rather than this corperate deflector language that could also mean working on our future plans to see if the EM product has a future in our plans!
