I'm new to all of this DAM stuff. I am ingesting my images off my camera, into my computer with ImageIngesterPro. Along with renaming, they are being automatically converted into DNG files in the process. I just started doing some editing on them with Lightroom 4.1 . Now I am wanting to keyword them and catalog them in IDimager 5. I noticed though, that my edits in Lightroom are not showing up on my DNG files in IDimager.

My question is then, am I stuck doing all my editing in IDimager if I want to see what was done to the DNG files? I am guessing it will show the derivatives such as jpegs and tiff files properly, no matter what software made them.
