Sorry for the delay in getting back.  Thanks all for the good information.

Thanks, Dan.  UsePlus looks interesting, although if I can find a solution that doesn't require me to pay for it, that would be preferable.   Wink  I'll take some time this coming week to look more closely at it.

WRT ASMP, my pre-photography background is in business and I have a very solid grounding in copyright, contracts and licensing so that information is less pertinent for me but would be helpful to many.  I'm also located in Canada so there are some differences in relevant laws.

Did a search and found a topic from 2006 but nothing more recent.

Does anyone know of a DAM app. that will allow you to manage image licensing?  I'm not talking about storing the actual agreements but just licensing terms on individual photos.  Start date, expiry date, usage, fees, that sort of thing.

Tom Zimberoff's Photobyte software did some of this but it isn't a DAM app. in the sense of the software that's available currently.  And it isn't as user friendly as more current, GUI oriented applications.

Thanks.

Thanks Mark.  Appreciate the quick reply.  That's what I thought but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Did a search and didn't find what I was looking for so am posting a new topic.  If this has already been answered before, I apologise in advance and please point me to the discussion thread.

Can Bridge (CS3) manage offline photos.  What I mean by that is can images that are on an external hard drive or on CDs/DVDs be imported into Bridge (as can be done in LR) and tracked there with keywords and a name for the offline media?

Thanks.
