Good day.
I am considering to move my Canon CR2 photographs to DNG format. I made a test using Adobe's DNG Converter (v.5.5), checked the result in iView and was surprised to see that the color depth dropped from 48 to 32 bits and that the light source metadata was lost during the process.
How can it be? Did I miss something in the specifications of the DNG format or did I make some mistake during the conversion (but I can't how as it is very simple)?
