Title: II Version 3.4.10 for Windows
Post by: Marc Rochkind on August 12, 2010, 12:57:36 PM
Catches up to the Mac version, except that thumbnails are shown in only one size. A very new version (maturity = low), so use it with caution.

Here's what's new:

1. JPEG extraction from some raw types (see http://imageingester.com/wp/?p=42 for details).

2. RW2 thumbnails now shown

3. improved IPTC template

4. NRW added to list of raw types (for DNG Conversion)

Also, while I've got you: I have a new product that lets you make your own iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad app that shows photos from your SmugMug, Flickr, or Facebook account. There are also two new Lightroom plugins (SmugMug and Flickr) that do the export and build the PhotoApp in one step. Peter tried it out and determined that PhotoApps don''t work on iPhones (and probably iPods) that are running a pre-iOS 4 system. Does work on all iPads, however. For the older iPhone OS devices, non-Apple devices, and non-mobile computers running Safari or Firefox, PhotoApps run with reduced functionality, as there is no swipe event. Other browsers are not supported at all. (They are for making a PhotoApp, just not for running one.)

Details at:

http://PhotoAppMaker.com

There are some examples you can view there, too.

Hi Marc,

Thanks a lot for this great piece of software. It is really the workhorse of my workflow  ;)

One question though: as mentioned in this post (http://thedambook.com/smf/index.php?topic=4719.0), there seems to a bug with the Filenamenew macro not using the correct sequence number (taking over the in-camera generated number from the raw file, rather than the II-generated one). Was that fixed in this new version?

Cheers,

JF
